Warners Corton Coastal Village
Along the coast and moving inland, pretty villages, historical hamlets, seaside and market towns await you here on The Suffolk Coast. There’s something for everyone. Villages offering riverside walks and country pubs and quirky towns filled with antique emporiums, chic cafes and independent shops, the towns and villages on The Suffolk Coast are the perfect places to explore come rain or shine.

The town of Sheringham is anything but the monotonous strip, with the promenade running in and out of the low cliffs, while steps and slopes connect it with the town above. Sheringham has plenty of facilities, including many interesting shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.

Corton's all about; brilliant sea views, live entertainment, comfy chalets and deckchairs. The Clifftop lodges even look like beach huts. This seaside village on Suffolk's Sunrise Coast has a lively, welcoming kind of ambience to it. Guests get to know each other over shuffleboard, curling, crazy golf and giant Jenga. Now that's real seaside fun. At Corton, the choice is yours and there is so much to do either around the village or out and about. There is a games lawn featuring some amazing outdoor activities there really is so much to do as well as indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room.

INCLUDED EXCURSION

Sheringham & Wells Next to the Sea

Sheringham is a rare example of a seaside town hardly changed from a century ago yet thriving still on a potent mixture of Norfolk charm. An award winning beach, steam railway and locally run shops make a stop here a must. Continuing along the Norfolk coast to Wells Next the Sea - The Quay and The Granary, the busy fishing Quay is an ever popular attraction. You can buy cockles and crab sticks from the fish stall and watch the fishing boats come and go.

The freshly caught seafood is a specialty in many of the local restaurants, and eating fish 'n chips on the quay is a popular pastime. One of the main industries of the town in the 19th century was malting. Some of the granaries and maltings still exist, and an impressive feature of the harbour is the large granary building with its distinctive overhanging gantry. Built in 1903, the granary has been turned into luxury flats with magnificent views of the harbour

OPTIONAL EXCURSION

Aldburgh & Southwold

We head to Aldeburgh today for peeks at this neat little seaside resort and shingle beach. Aldeburgh is a pretty coastal town on the river Alde and enjoys breathtaking views both seawards and following the river Alde inland towards Orford. Its name comes from 'Alde Burgh' meaning "old fort" and the town’s history is closely linked to the changes time and Mother Nature have wrought to the coastal map. Today Aldeburgh is famous for many things - good food, great fish & chips, Aldeburgh Music, Maggi Hamblings' Scallop on the beach, as well as a vibrant art and music scene. There are several Art Galleries in the town including one from Caroline Wiseman based in the iconic South Lookout.

Southwold. The town offers much of interest, but it is the sea and Southwold's links with it that make this a wonderful destination at any time of the year. Come and sample the Southwold sea air! All the attractions of the working lighthouse, beach huts, award-winning pier, Adnams Brewery, busy harbour, cliff top cannon and of course the beach, combine to make Southwold a quintessentially English resort town.

Day 5
Return to interchange today with comfort stops en route.
Accommodation upgrades subject to supplement and availability - Signature Rooms etc
